Every other month I do a one-page comic for D Magazine [link] with David Hopkins [link] (Emily Edison, Astronaut Dad, Karma Incorporated) called Souvenir of Dallas. It's just a humorous kind of guide to the city and all of the wonderful places and people in the Big D.

My favorite SoD so far because, you know, I'm a big nerd. As soon as I heard the assignment I got all excited about drawing Jerry Jones as The Emperor. Definitely the most special-effects laden episode of SoD to date. I still can't believe David let me be Han Solo.

It may be hard to tell but our shirts in the first and last panel read "Han Shot First" and "Joss Whedon Is My Master Now." Both are real shirts which you can find online.

A ghost Jedi Tom Landry amuses me to no end.
Dude, these are great pages. Also I'm totally stoked to see what you're cooking up with Hopkins for that new project. Rest assured I will pick your brain about it when next we meet.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. And my brain awaits your picking... did that sound gross?
Yeah, that's one of my favorite bits of the comic. I was stoked when I saw it in the script.
A little gross perhaps. I'm sure we can let it slide.
